NDP leader Jagmeet Singh teared up in front of reporters Sunday on the last stop of his campaign in Penticton, B.C., as he addressed the “horrific” incident that resulted in multiple deaths at a Filipino festival in Vancouver the night before.
“Now is the time for Canada to wrap its arms around the Filipino community,” Singh said. “We cannot imagine the depth of your grief. But know this you do not grieve alone.” [Global]
The Conservatives are facing questions and criticism for reposting a social media video that links the Vancouver Lapu Lapu tragedy to the Liberal approach to crime. Good overview here -- en français, of course -- of some of the key races and potential Liberal pickups in the '450' doughnut around Montreal. When Apple released iOS 18, the update included a revamped Photos app that brought more collections and albums to the forefront of the app. You could still access a grid filled with all your photos if you swiped down. However, these weren't my favorite changes. Instead, the ability to sort photos by when they were added to the Photos app is my favorite change to the app. [CNET]
