Leaders face off in final debate of election campaign
While they've already debated in French, the English-language debate was many Canadians' first chance to see the four main federal party leaders go head-to-head in the 2025 election campaign. Mackenzie Gray looks at how Mark Carney was under fire for most of the debate; how Pierre Poilievre had to play both offence and defence; how Jagmeet Singh spent time going after Poilievre; and how Yves-François Blanchet accused Carney of contradicting himself.

It’s an accurate description. Journalists are shepherded onto buses and planes to take their designated spots. [Fly Straight]
